Sydney Tower in the CBD
If you visit the Sydney, you will see the huge tower standing middle of the Sydney CBD, and it shines beautifully by illuminated sun on the blue sky. The tower became one of the famous spots that you must go if you are in Sydney. As you can see from the right side picture, what a great colour collaborations includes white buildings around the tower, green of trees in the Botanic Gardens and around Sydney area, Blue sky and sea, and Gold shining tower. this tower is on of the place that you should visit when you visit Sydney!!





Sydney Tower is the Sydney's tallest free-standing structure, and 2nd tallest in Australia. the height of this tower is around 309m (1,014 ft) and stands above the Sydney CBD. It is located Market St, between Pitt St and Castlereagh St, so it is really easy to access. The toer is open to the public and it is one of the most prominent tourist attractions in the city, being visible from number of vantage points throughout town and from adjoining suburbs.





Let me explain briefly about the history of this tower. The plan for Sydney tower were started in March 1968, which is around 45 years ago and started constructing in 1975. the total cost of construction was A$36 million.  In the 1981, the public started accessing to the tower, and in 1998, the addition of a lighting rod to the top of spire extended the tower's overall height to 309m.  The name Sydney Tower has become common in daily usage, however the tower is also known as the Sydney Tower Eye, AMP Tower, Westfield Centrepoint Tower, Centrepoint Tower or justCentrepoint. The Sydney Tower is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers.


SKYWALK
At the Sydney Tower, of course you can enjoy the great and gorgeous views from the observation deck which is called Sydney Tower Eye.  The height of observation deck is around 250m (879 ft) above ground level. But it is not only this! On 23 September 2011, a 4D cinema was opened on the observation deck, playing a film with footage from various locations in Sydney. The theatre is the first of its kind in Australia; in-theatre effects include wind, bubbles, and fire. Also, there is some exciting activity called
