Taronga Zoo is the city zoo of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and is located on the shores of Sydney Harbour in the suburb of Mosman. Divided into eight zoo geographic regions, the 21-hectare (52-acre) Taronga Zoo is home to over 2,600 animals of 340 species. It has a zoo shop, a cafe, and information center.

Situated on spectacular Sydney Harbour, Taronga Zoo is an experience not to be missed. Located just 12 minutes from the city by ferry, Taronga Zoo offers up to 20 free keeper talks and animal shows throughout the day. The Sky Safari cable car connects the ferry to the main entrance. 

Taronga Zoo is home to thousands of exotic and native species including native animals such as Kangaroos, Koalas, Tasmanian Devils, Platypus, Wombats, Wallabies, Quokkas, Emus and Crocodiles. Exotic species include rare Western Lowland Gorillas, Sumatran Tigers, Snow Leopards, Sun Bears, Chimpanzees, Giraffes, Zebras, Thai Asian Elephants.

The Queen Victoria Building (or QVB), is a late nineteenth-century building designed by the architect George McRae in the central business district of Sydney, Australia.   Designed as a shopping centre, it was later used for a variety of other purposes until its restoration and return to its original use in the late twentieth century.

If you want to feel the historical and rich environment, QVB is a great place that you must to go. otherwise, QVB also is a good place for shopping, there are many different brand and style of products that opening in the QVB.btw, don't be afraid hungry and tired when you walking through the QVB,because there many cafe shop open in every level and many delicious snacks sales on the ground floor. 

The bottom central panel represents the heraldic symbol of a finished building and the joining of two hands denotes the fusing of two cultures. There are many interesting and charming exhibitions and attractions throughout the building, along with portraits of the Queen. There is also a letter from Queen Elizabeth II to the Citizens of Sydney to be opened and read by the Lord Mayor of Sydney in the year 2085. Outside the QVB, on Town Hall Place, facing The Town Hall are the Royal Wishing Well and Queen Victoria's statue.

Sydney Darling Harbour is a great place to have fun and good area to spend your whole day with the family and especially for kids. Have a walk around the Darling Harbour, you can go shopping to the Harbourside complex, watch movies in the Imax theatre, take your kids to the Sydney Wildlife World or Sydney Aquarium. 

 After a tiring tour around the Sydney Darling Harbour why not have a rest and enjoy the bars, cafes and restaurants in Cockle Bay Wharf or King Street Wharf and in the evening enjoy the nightspots at the Harbourside go to the Star Casino and get entertained.

There is a little motorised train that does a loop around precinct, useful for tired little (or big) legs. At $4.50 for adults and $3.50 for children one-way, this makes it one of the most expensive one-way trips for children anywhere in Sydney, so it's best to think of it as a ride rather than a form of transport. It does go all the way from the far side of Tumbalong Park to the Aquarium, so it can save some walking, but is slow and won't save much time compared to walking, if any.

There is a crazy place where you must go and feel how crazy it is when you visit Sydney.

Actually, it is 2^nd largest casino in Australia after the Crown Casino in Melbourne.  What a huge building!! In this building, Casino of course, 8 bars, 12 restaurants, 352 hotel rooms, and 130 serviced and privately owned apartments are included.

Around 18 years ago, in 1995 13^th of September, The Star Sydney Casino has opened, this casino is only one that have been licenced from New South Wales. In 2009, the owner of The Star announced a refurbishment and expansion program called Project Star which involved the re-orientation of the casino towards Sydney Harbour, including new iconic entrance as well as a drop-off zone on the harbour side of the casino site. The construction completed in 2012.

The main target is a casino. There are 4 gaming floors. What a big surprise that the biggest bet range is from $100 to $500,000 in the special gaming area for high rollers!  I wonder how much moneys are moving around in one day…  The games are many types such as Baccarat, Blackjack, Pink jack, Caribbean Stud, Craps, Pai Gow, Poker, Roulette, Sic Bo, Three cards Poker and Four cards Poker and so on. There are not only table games but also electronic gaming such as slot machines, bingo, and video poker machines. How don’t you play it and be a millionaire?

As I said, The Star is not only for place of gaming! There are many high levels of restaurants and gorgeous bars in the building, and you can access there anytime, of course you must visit at open time. You will enjoy the worldwide dining in the one place. Also some bar has live entertainment and big entertainment screen to enjoy sports. You will enjoy drinking with it. If you feel bit tired after enjoying casino and bar, you do not have to get out from The Star to back your hotel. Take lift and go back to your room. The Star operates also high levels and beautiful hotel. The view from your room is unbelievable. Looking down the Darling Harbour and Sydney CBD buildings, shinning the lights everywhere in the dark of night. How romantics it is! It is worth to stay and feel like a millionaires.

As you walk around you’ll realize that they sell a lot of random stuff there. Most of them sells Asian snacks such as grilled baby octopus and fish balls, “bak kwa” or “long yoke” which is a sweet pork jerky, Japanese “Takoyaki” (Octopus balls), Dragon’s beard candy (sweet candy with stuffing inside such as peanut, or chocolate, etc), and some other grilled meat, lamb, etc, etc. The foods aren’t too expensive. They are around $3 - $4 dollars each.

The do not only sell foods, but there are a lot of other stuff such as stuffed animals, mostly angry birds, pikachus, domo, etc… They also have fake stuff, like fake Beats by dre headphones, and some other fake electronics, like mouse, USB’s etc etc. other common stuff they sell are cute things, such as little figures, cute wallet and pouches, socks, etc..

Ahh, also one unique thing to see when you’re in Dixon street is “The  Glowing Blue Cupids of Chinatown”. At first I was rather confused… Why is it there and what’s the meaning behind it? After a little research, it appears that The artwork is the creation of 34 year old artist Jason Wing who is of Chinese and Aboriginal descent. The reason why he used blue lighting was because he thought that there were too much red and yellow in Chinatown, so he made it blue, to make it contrast and more appealing. The meaning behind the artwork is that he wanted to make an experience like waking in between two worlds or travelling between heaven and earth. Ohh well, nevertheless it is still an awesome thing to look at, and pretty unique.

So there you go…. If you really enjoy being in a lively and colorful environment, you should definitely check out Dixon street in Chinatown on Friday and Saturday night, around 4pm to 11pm.

As you can see in our background image on our blog, when you visit Sydney which is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, you will know this great bridge as the Sydney’s landmark. This big bridge called “Sydney Harbour Bridge” also known locally as “Coat hanger” locates in head of Sydney CBD and is main access way between Sydney CBD and north shore area across the Sydney Harbour. Also the bridge is near the Sydney’s main landmark “Sydney Opera House” and traditional area called “ the Rocks”. So every year, many people visit there and take memories in their camera. The brilliant design was influenced by Hell Gate Bridge in New York, and the total length is 1,149m (3,770 ft.).

Construction on the arch began in November, 1929, and by October, 1930, the two arch halves had met and work then began on the deck. The deck is 59 metres (194 feet) above sea level and was built from the centre out. The Harbour Bridge was officially opened on 19 March 1932. The total cost of the Bridge was approximately A$13.5 million, and was eventually paid off in 1988. It has already been more than 80 years to be built. What a long year!! This bridge has been attracting many people who visit Sydney and creating great memories for them. What a lovely bridge!

The bridge is used normally for roadway and train rail which connect the Sydney CBD and Sydney North Shore area. Every day, many numbers of vehicle and trains are operating and the bridge became important for our life. Did you know that until the 1958, the tram services across the bridge were operating, and now you can see traces on the roadway.

BRIDGE CLIMB SYDNEY

Also, you cannot forget the biggest New Year's Eve Firework around the Sydney Harbour. it is an annual multi-tiered event held every New Year's Eve, creating on the Harbour Bridge. There is 9pm Firework and the Midnight Fireworks, both of which are televised nationally with the latter also televised around the world. Each year has a theme and regularly viewed by more than one million people at the harbour and one billion worldwide for the televised Midnight Fireworks. The fireworks are set off with music around the Harbour and of course from the Bridge as well. One of the most beautiful fireworks effect is "Waterfall" and it is a continual stream of fireworks falling from the base of the Bridge down to actually touch the water. Also Central to the firework displays each year since 1999 is the lighting display on the Harbour Bridge known as the "Bridge Effect" Made of rope light attached to a panel and truss system, the display showcases a variety of symbols and other images related to the current year's theme.  Anyway, you cannot just miss it and must watch this fantastic event.
